Vision & Initiatives
[Infrastructure Development] Contributing to National & Local Governments
Through "DOBOPRO"*, a hands-on civil engineering student community for students aspiring to work in the civil engineering and construction industry, we operate the overseas construction project "CeePs" and the campsite construction project "DOBOLAND."
Operating the Overseas Construction Project "CeePs"
"CeePs (Civil Engineering Environment Project by Student)" is a project where civil engineering and architecture students from across Japan collaborate on overseas infrastructure development. Covering roads, wells, and urban planning, students work alongside local residents to carry out the entire process—from design and fundraising to construction and review—as a hands-on internship spanning approximately six months. The program's distinguishing feature is that students lead the entire construction process.
In FY2025, we installed a well for toilet facilities at the island's only school on Pandanon Island in the Philippines, and carried out the design and construction of a judo hall in Nepal.
Going forward, we aim to expand participation by implementing overseas projects for general-course high school students as well, creating more opportunities for students to develop interest in civil engineering and construction through hands-on experience.

Operating the Campsite Construction Project "DOBOLAND"
The campsite construction project "DOBOLAND" is an initiative in Otaki Town, Chiba Prefecture, to develop a BBQ facility from undeveloped land. Students participate in the entire process from design to construction, gaining practical construction experience. The project collaborates with local governments, university faculty, construction companies, and surveying firms. Going forward, we will strengthen partnerships with national and local governments to evolve the project into a more practical educational initiative.

*About DOBOPRO
DOBOPRO is an initiative that provides hands-on learning opportunities to complement civil engineering education, which tends to focus on classroom study, observation, and research. By participating in fieldwork, students can identify their interests and aptitudes and make informed, proactive career choices.
Led by civil engineering and architecture students, the project develops activities rooted in civil engineering—including disaster prevention, regional revitalization, and international reconstruction support—communicating the importance and appeal of the construction industry to diverse audiences including local residents and children.
